Meghan Soutar

Meghan joined the Volunteer Victoria team in July 2017, after coming into the office to learn about volunteer opportunities and deciding to apply to volunteer at the front desk. Elyse Kornhauser

Elyse has made Victoria home after living, studying, and working in Toronto, Guelph, Whitehorse, and Edmonton. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts & Sciences from the University of Guelph with a focus in sexual health and is currently completing her Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Victoria. Over the past 10 years, Elyse has dedicated her time to supporting youth and young adults learn, gain confidence and make positive decisions.  Elyse is passionate about the power of volunteerism to provide a safe space for stepping out of one’s comfort zone, discovering one’s passions, and gaining valuable employment-related experience, while simultaneous having a positive impact on the community.  You can reach Elyse at elyse@volunteervictoria.bc.ca

Emily Donald

Emily is the newest member of the Youth 20/20 Can Team in Victoria. Emily recently moved back to Victoria after completing her undergraduate degree in Sociology at Dalhousie University in Halifax. As a Youth Engagement Worker Emily will be pursuing her passion for working with youth of all backgrounds and abilities to reach their full potential. With her previous experience working with youth in Summer Camp settings and through various volunteer organizations in Halifax she has experienced first hand how rewarding and exciting it is to empower youth to make a difference!
